Terms & Conditions
Last updated: March 2025. These Terms and Conditions ("Terms") govern your use of ChikitsaPro ("Service", "we", "us") provided by Code Artisan Lab. By signing up, logging in, or using the Service, you agree to these Terms.
1. Acceptance and scope
By creating an account or using ChikitsaPro, you agree to be bound by these Terms and our Privacy Policy. The Service is a software-as-a-service (SaaS) platform for clinic management, including appointments, patients, prescriptions, and billing. Use is limited to lawful medical practice and business purposes in accordance with applicable laws in India.
2. Account and registration
You must provide accurate and complete registration information. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and for all activity under your account. You must notify us promptly of any unauthorized use. Accounts are intended for use by qualified healthcare providers (e.g. doctors, clinics) or by patients as permitted by the product features.
3. Subscription, fees and payment
Subscription plans (including free trial, Starter, Basic, Pro and add-ons) are as described on the website and in the dashboard. Fees are in Indian Rupees (INR) and are charged annually or as specified. Payment is processed via Razorpay or other designated payment providers. You agree to pay all applicable taxes. Refunds are subject to our refund policy as stated at the time of purchase. We may change pricing on reasonable notice; continued use after the change constitutes acceptance.
4. Acceptable use
You agree to use the Service only for lawful purposes and in compliance with applicable laws, including medical council and data protection regulations. You must not: (a) misuse or attempt to gain unauthorized access to the Service or others' data; (b) use the Service for any illegal or fraudulent purpose; (c) transmit malware or interfere with the integrity of the Service; (d) resell or sublicense the Service except as expressly permitted. You are responsible for the accuracy and legality of data you enter and for obtaining any patient consents required under applicable law.
5. Data and privacy
Our collection and use of personal data is described in our Privacy Policy. You retain ownership of your data. We process data as necessary to provide the Service and as described in our policies. You must comply with applicable data protection laws (e.g. Digital Personal Data Protection Act 2023) in your use of the Service and in your role as data controller for patient data you store in the Service.
6. Intellectual property
ChikitsaPro, the software, design, and branding are owned by us or our licensors. We grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable licence to use the Service for your internal business use during your subscription. You may not copy, modify, reverse-engineer, or create derivative works of the Service except as permitted by law.
7. Disclaimers
The Service is provided "as is" and "as available". We do not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free operation. We are not liable for the accuracy of medical or clinical decisions you make using the Service; the Service is a tool to support your practice, and you remain responsible for clinical and legal compliance. 8. Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, our total liability for any claims arising from or related to the Service shall not exceed the fees you paid to us in the twelve (12) months preceding the claim. We are not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for loss of data, revenue, or profits. Some jurisdictions do not allow certain limitations; in such cases our liability is limited to the maximum permitted by law.
9. Termination
You may cancel your subscription as per the options in the dashboard. We may suspend or terminate your access if you breach these Terms or for other legitimate reasons on notice where practicable. On termination, your right to use the Service ceases. We may retain or delete your data in accordance with our data retention policy and applicable law.
10. Changes to Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. We will post the updated Terms on this page and update the "Last updated" date. Material changes may be communicated by email or in-app notice. Continued use of the Service after the effective date of changes constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
11. Governing law and contact
